The Taurus Model 63 .22; is it any good?

I was at a local dealer yesterday and the guy had one of these in the back for $260. He says they've been dicontinued but i still see them on the web. I know some websites aren't updated however. This is supposed to be a faithful reproduction of Browning's .22 rifle. Three questions.

1 Are these truly out of production now?

2 Are they any good?

3 Is $260 a good price?

Well, the last Taurus catalog I saw still had them listed. I think that some guys on Rimfire Central had been having problems with theirs, though....

I'd think $260 would be a decent price.

I checked rimfire central and one poster said he got one for $200 NIB. There were some negative posts there also that raised a flag.
