The tragic events of 9-11 remind me of the fact that our federal government dallies in things that it shouldn't..

-- social security
-- education
-- healthcare/insurance

All these things seem so trivial now.

And so does most of the "news" reported. Nobody is interested in Gary Condit anymore, for sure.
