Well, I gave in :)

Today I picked up a Colt M1991A1 Compact Model. The gun looks to be in pretty good condition. It came with Tru Dot nightsights and Pachmayr grips.

Could someone give me some history on this model Colt? Additionally, I'd like to find a source for extra magazines and if possible a user manual (I have no clue as to how to field strip this pistol). Does Colt sell manuals for used guns?

Colt made the 1991A1 as their 'no-frills' line the same time they made the Series 80 Mk IV enhanced. Users' manuals should be free upon request from Colt.
