At the gun-show today, a vendor had two Springfield Armory SAR-8 rifles, for around $1050. I have learned that S.A. can no longer produce these by decree of the ATF.
Can someone enlighten me as to
a. the legality of "jow schmuck" (ie: me) owning the rifle
b. quality?
c. cost / availability of mags?
d. ability to mount optics
e. what the "muzzle brake" is.. (I assume to be legal, it is a muzzle brake and not a flash hider).
