1- does S&W still carry the lifetime warranty on the original Thompson Center Contenders?
2- I have a g2 as well and I love shooting my 45-70 barrel on it but it has quite a bit of recoil. could this damage the gun?
3- I put a scope on the 45-70 barrel ( not a cheap scope, it was a Burris) and I shot it once and the lenses shattered all over me and my wife but they refuse to fix it. I am not sure why the lens shattered, maybe to much recoil, but are Burris scopes as good as they say?
