I recently bought a taurus tracker 627 in .357 Mag. The gun appears in good condition and fires with out a hiccup. The issue I am having with cylinder lock-up. The cyl locks solid for chambers 1 and 2 but not for 3-7? is this a gap tolerance issue due to the crane or spindle being off somehow or is it a spring tension issue? I am new to wheel guns and need advice from the wise sage's of TFL, thanks in advance!

I assume you mean the cylinder locking up with the chambers in alignment with the barrel. The way the Taurus works, it is not uncommon for full lockup not to take place if the cylinder is deliberately retarded (with a pipe wrench?) when it is rotated by the hand. If it carries up under normal handling, there is no problem.
