Taurus Tracker 627ss4 - what's the screw in the butt for

We purchased this gun new, I figured the manual would say why it came with a hex wrench.. But the manual didn't seem to be up to date with this particular model. There is a hex bolt in the butt, I have a feeling it might be to adjust the main spring tension?

If that's the case, it would explain why it doesn't like CCI primers anymore (had no problem for the first 200 rounds) ;-).

The hex bolt is to hold the grips to the frame. Just unscrew that bolt and pull the grips down off the frame to remove them.
