Taurus Titanium - Any Comments?

Does anyone own and carry one of these
new Taurus revolvers? I am especially interested in the 44spl and 45lc models.
They look like they would make good carry
guns. Any comments appreciated.

I fired one when Taurus came to the southern Florida Family Shooting Expo a few weeks ago. They have a pretty good kick to them.

I have a 44 spcl TI. It is a great gun, and the kick is very controllable, even with COrbon ammo. Very lightweight and concealable.

How is the double action? Is it as smooth
as a Smith? I've heard good and bad about
the actions. Have you used lead bullets
by chance? Thanks.

Don't know how it compares to a Smith, and haven't used lead yet. Since it is ported, the recoil is less than one would expect with this caliber.
