The finish of my favorite mousegun, a PT22 PLY, is, I have to admit, not the most durable. No match to the Tenifer on my G17 or the like, still I like the gun.
Hence I wondered whether it is possible to self-refurbish the black finish, and, lo and behold, there are finish repair sets on the internet; even to a fair price.
The thing is that in order to use them on your gun, you'll have to find out what kind of steel quality your certain model is made of. Does anybody know more about this issue?
