Taurus pt1911

Hey people. I have a Taurus pt1911,no rail. Was wondering if one can scribe small line in lower part of gun to mount laser sight to it?. I know it sounds strange but scribe would have to be no more than a semi deep scratch to hold sight.

It won't hold. You won't find a laser to fit that scratch and it won't stay on under recoil.

If you want a laser on the gun, go buy the Crimson Trace grips for the 1911.

Or they make one to fit under the barrel that replaces the guide rod.
