Taurus PT 145 Pro

Picked one up today for a good price. Compared it to my Kahr P45. Height and width are almost the same. The Taurus is 10 +1 while the Kahr is 6 +1. The Kahr has a much smoother and cleaner breaking trigger but the Taurus has the second strike ability. Only had time for a couple magazines but it functioned fine.

I have a PT145 Pro, which I consider having one of the best DAO triggers I've tried. I also own a Kahr PM9 which also has a fine DAO trigger. After I shot the Taurus its trigger pull seemed to smooth out. I bet you'll find the PT145 will get better after about another 300-400 rounds (that is if you bought your's new).

Great choice, I love mine.

Thanks Lou. It is new. Hopefully the trigger will get better with use. We'll see. I also spent a lot less money for the Taurus.

I agree, its a great value. Mine has a decent trigger pull, good accuracy, and has never jammed in over 700 rounds, including 3 kinds of factory ammo and 2 handload recipes.
