TALO?

I have seen Glock, Colt and now Ruger LCP listed as special Talo editions. What is the meaning or reason, just looks, or function, or ???

Also are these factory guns or sent to a special gunsmith for upgrades?

Thanks

The TALO editions are simply more pretty. They cosmetically gussy them up and leave the insides alone is my understanding.

I am a Glock guy but when I see a TALO something about lipstick on a pig comes to mind.

It's solely for looks.

I am curious about their blued Glock slides. Is it possible to blue over the Tenifer, or do they have to remove the Tenifer first?

The tenifer is in the metal, not the finish. You can buff the finish off and still have the tenifer treatment to the metal. Pops

i have to agree. the talo colts only seem to have "talo wood grips" and a front site with tritium, plus a MUCH higher price. i don't see the value in the extra cost. the talo name isn't worth paying extra for to me.
