Tactical Lights -Green Lasers

Got the urge to buy a rail mounted tactical light, preferably a flashlight and laser combo. I've seen lately some trend toward the green lasers.

What's the best combo out there these days, who makes it, costs, durability, etc? No permanent mounted models.

PHOTOS PLEASE!

Thanks in advance

I don't think anyone has made a light/laser combo with a green laser yet. You could do what I did and install a Lasermax Uni-Green rail-mounted laser and a Surefire X300 or other light of your choice.

Wow...I looked at one of those today. How do you like it? Does it mount up tight and is it adjustable? Will it fit into regular holsters? Price?

Sorry about all the questions, but I was pressed for time today and the clerk was from another part of the store and didn't know much at all. It pulses..right?

I love it. It is adjustable, but the width of the crossbolt for the laser is designed for universal pistol rails such as those found on a Glock, not a Picatinny-dimensioned rail slot. It still works in one of those, though. You just have to torque it down good and tight so it doesn't shift back and forth in the slot. I don't know of any holster makers that make a holster for a gun/light combo with the laser stacked in between; it would have to be a custom job. The laser cost me $350, the X300 goes for about $175 these days on eBay IIRC.

And yes, it does pulse. :D

Green lasers out perform any red laser on the market for visibility.

not sure of the stats on that but a red one is extremely bright in day and night. No need to "my dad can beat up your dad" but both work well and do the job. Personal preference...I can see red better.

My question is in some cases the red laser can't be seen with the white light turned on also. The green is a stronger light, so does anyone have a green laser/light combo that can advise on if the green laser can be seen with the white light on? Thank you.

Been looking at the different models myself. None seem to have the green laser but links;

Rumered Glock is changing theirs to LED. Surefire seeems to maintain the tough reputation. Insight surefire and streamlight are lifetime guaranty, Two guys at work have the steamlight andlove it, but they do not have the new C4 lights which are reported brighter. Check before buying Streamlight, some advertise 80 lumens , some 135 with the new bulb. Don' know who's is best, streamlight and surefire have thumbscrews to hold on to rail.Surefire website has three 9 minute videos which recommend putting it on and leaving it. Insight is a catch and release type clip like a glock receiver. clicks on.loks better for duty unless you want an extra large holster.

Sorry for spelling and punctuation, in hurry

When I use my green laser and light together, I can pick up the laser very easily.
