Synthetic stock for a win101?

I know o/u and synthetic doesn't go hand in hand but I want one:D

i often move thru thick brush and will scratch my stock even more, a synthetic one would fix that

and it is a straight slightly right cast stock and I am a LH shooter

are there ones available or are there ones that would easily be converted?

forend to so that it matches? don't mind if it slims down and lightens the gun up either

I want to have the cast right for me so I am warming up the chainsaw...

figured if I cut it up and glue it back (with support) i would have to redo the finish anyway. and I don't need it to look pretty, it is a tool

It is easy enough for a good gunsmith or stock-maker to change the stock to cast-on. It involves steam and heat, and the gun will not need to be refinished. As far as lightening the shotgun, Win 101s are already pretty light for O/U shotguns of that type. Maybe not as light as a Beretta 686, but lighter than my 1978 Citori.

Take a look on ebay for Winchester 101, you may be surprised at the number of stocks that come up.

Buying a beater stock that you can make fit just for hunting and your original stock for shooting clay's.
