Suggestions for getting started

First: if this question has been posted and beat like a dead horse before I appologize but couldnt find it.

Question: I want to get into reloading. What is your suggestion for an "everything you need" starter kit of equipment? Where can I buy it? Are there any good beginner's "how to" books? To help you help me, I am interested in loading .243, 260 and .308. One day I would like to be able to load reduced recoil even in these calibers for my kids. I know that loading reduced recoil can cause similar safety problems to hot loads, but I just want to get started now. Thanks, 101

IMHO.
A little cut and paste.
Lee Kit

Go to http://www.leeprecision.com/
They even have short videos. Buy the Lee book. It has all their presses. Step by step.
My turret is +20 yrs. 9mm to .308.
30-30 and .308 set up turret like a single stage.
9mm 100-150 rounds an hour.
Just set up a friend $ 300.00.
Don't buy from Lee.
Go to Midwayusa.com for supplies. Buy the kit here. Get Pro disk up grade.
http://www.kempfgunshop.com/products/reloading/leeprecision/kits/KempfKit.html
Buy Powder and primers local. Because of Haz mat. fees.
It's real easy.:D

Here is some more stuff.

I know it's a lot to read.
By the way. Here is really the deciding factor.
Can you spend 1-2 hrs a week, at your new hobby?
Maybe more.

I just got started myself about a month ago. I would suggest the lee aniversary set to staart out with. It has been good so far for me! I would get the lyman 48th annual book it has easier to read data than the lee book.
The lee book has some good how to info in the front of the book.
