Building a .223" AR pistol w/ no gas system. Wondering how to convert it to a pistol caliber w/out changing out the bolt. .30" Carbine case head is smaller than .223", long enough to feed ok, .380" is dadgum near exact, 9x19mm & friends are slightly larger diameter, don't know if in tolerance of my bolt or not. Does the bbl extension w/ the locking lugs just screw onto a bbl, & who could I get to chamber such a thing?
