Stocks for ladies...

So while at the range the other week, my girlfriend decided she wanted to try out my Stevens 200 in 7mm-08.

She enjoyed shooting it. Hit several steel turkeys at 200-300 yards with it.

Problem is the stock doesn't fit her. She can't put the butt pad where it's comfortable for her, and get her cheek on the stock.

Was looking for something akin to the stock used on the Savage Lady Hunter.

Anyone know where I might find something like this, without breaking the bank???

They run close to $100, if it doesn't fit, cut it down to fit. Lots of color choices too.

An option: Cut the stock shorter, to fit her, and reinstall the buttpad. Then, buy a slip-on buttpad to lengthen the stock for your own use.

It's not necessarily the length of pull, but the drop, and how high the cheek rest is.

It doesn't help that she has a couple of vertebrae fused in her neck.

A comb riser (commercial or home made) will fix it.
