stock options for Mossburg patrol ???

I've looked at these rifles, & generally like everything but the stocks on them... anyone know if the receiver is a standard model number, that there might be aftermarket stocks available for ???

Ideally a nice aftermarket laminated rather than another composite might be enough to sway me into one...

The are sort of a purpose built rifle I doubt you will see any wood or laminated stocks for one.

Why not take a look at the Ruger Gunsite Scout for something similar with a laminated stock?.

I have seen some of the MVP's with laminate stocks and longer barrels using AR mags however.

looking at those too... I really like the Walnut & Stainless Cabelas version of the Ruger... but I do like the mag interchangeability of the Mossberg though
