Stevens Crackshot Model 26

My kind brother gave me this for my birthday. It's a very neat little rifle. The bore was very dirty, but is starting to clean up nicely. I think I'm going to need a extractor, but I found a source for them.

My question is, where did they put the serial number on these? I can't seem to find it.

Nice!!!

Regarding Serial Number?

Built prior to 1968, serial numbers were not required and many [rimfires especially] guns did not have them.

Including my 1950's winchester 67A and late 1930's 69A rim fires. Interestingly, my 1896 winchester mdl 1890 DOES have a s/n…. go figure.
