Steel AR lower

The talk of polymer lowers reminded me of an add I saw in a gun rag around 35 years ago for sell and stainless lowers. Anybody recall ever seeing one in person?

I've seen registered M16 lowers made of stainless steel. Group industries made them.

Not sure why someone would want a lower made of stainless. Aluminum works just fine. It's not like it's a high wear part.
