We all can agree that there are way, way, way too many gun laws. Sadly, they do little against crime and a lot to hinder law-abiding citizens. However, we can all agree that firearms do require some regulations. But how many?

Lets say that on December 31st all current gun laws are removed from the books. This not only includes federal laws, but state and local ones too. Then on the first day of the year, a new set of gun laws take place. These laws will be simplified and even have some teeth to them.

What would you include in the new set of gun laws? In other words, what gun laws do you think are reasonable and make sense?

Here is mine.

There should be minimum age restrictions for gun purchases. Not to use with adult supervision or when hunting. But to actually buy a gun. After all, I don't want a twelve year old walking out of Walmart with a Remington 870 and a box of shells.

What would be you gun law?

1)Use of a gun in the commission of a crime automatically makes it a felony offense and doubles or triples the sentencing without a chance for commutation

2) Minimum age of 18 to purchase any firearm, suppressor, or ammo.

The conviction of a violent felony committed with a gun is an automatic death penalty case. NO EXCEPTIONS OR PLEA BARGAINS!
