Even though I've never even held one, I have always been a fan of the BKS, ever since reading Jeff Cooper's high opinion of it in the mid-'70s. I've always thought handguns should be proportional to their power/capacity, so while a 9mm 1911 has never been very appealing, the BKS seems just right. Assuming there are going to be few holsters available specifically for the BKS, what holster would fit? Hi-Power, maybe?

That's what i was thinking.....right now, i'm using an uncle mike's iwb that i have modified to fit (read, sewed holster to fit). It works fairly well; however, i'd much prefer something a little more comfortable, or at least easier to re-holster.

While I don't have a Star BKS, I inherited a Star BKM from my Father's estate. I currently have it in a belt-slide holster marked for a S&W M39, with just a bit of slop-n-wobble.

It is a fun little pistol. I think of my Father every time I take it to the range.
