SSAR-15 Bump Fire Stock. Could it work with a .22lr converted AR?

This would be super fun with the either a .223 or better yet with .22lr converted AR in the interest of lower ammo cost. Question is, would it work with a .22 converted AR? Anyone tried it yet? What do you think? Here are a couple of YouTube videos:

It should work with a .223 but I don't think it will cycle with .22. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

The SlideFire stock works like a champ on a 5.56/.223 and with 119gr. full power 9mm both suppressed. It doesn't work well with the 9mm 147gr. not enough power to work the stock. So i would think that it may not work too well in a 22lr platform

Probably could work if a lighter spring was used in the stock.

Or if the gun was extremely light, or you went Akins accelerator style (10 years tho, AFAIK.)

Saw one in action (5.56) yesterday and saw 'the letter' that comes with it. And the ROF was impressive. No mechanical parts, the shooter's musculature does the deed

To be completely fair, I can see this as being a novelty that soon wears off, a thing that only impresses people. But it worked and worked very well

Talked to a LGS owner who had a demo and a video of these things. Said the guy who's building/marketing these things told him he was trying to get a model out for .22lr that has some sort of spring gizmo in it. Looks like one is coming.
