I've always wanted stippling or texture for my XD. If my hands get too sweaty, then the gun tends to rock back and forth when I fire. And if it's a hot sunny day, my sweat will actually form a blister underneath my skin if I am firing more than 200 rounds in a sitting on a hot day. XD's in general are pretty slick. I've been feeding Venom1956 a steady supply of airsoft related plastic and gun related plastic for practice, and here is his first stippling project on an actual gun of mine. I think that he's done a really good job of following the lines of the original XD with different textures. In terms of feel, the grip is GREAT! I really like the feel of it and I can definitely feel the extra purchase that I have when I grip the gun.
Now, I just need a brass or gold dot for the front sight.
