Springfield Milspec: Did I get a good deal?

Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec Stainless (Not the GI) for $545 ($577 with tax). What are they going for in your area?

That seems about right. I just picked up a Loaded full size for around $700 with tax... Around $550 is what I've seen Mil-Specs going for online as well. I think ya done good.

That's almost exactly what a parkerized milspec cost here in Seattle.

Here, the parkerized milspec is $549, and the GI is $449.
