I have a similar looking pig sticker somewhere down in the basement. I will try to find it and see how similar it is. I bought it at a gun auction years ago. I don't know why I wanted it, but I own it if I can find it. :)

Found it, and it is not even close.

Preferably a reproduction would be a good idea. Gunderson Militaria wants $395 for a real one, in "very good" condition. Their "fair" condition is heavily pitted.
According to worldbayonets.com, you're looking for a bayonet that was made at the time by local blacksmiths vs the SA factory. And the first bayonets made there was the Pattern 1807. A clone of the French M1763 musket. So if that Dixie Gunworks repro is worth $207 to you, it'll do. Nobody will be checking anyway. Just be really friggin' careful when you play with it. Lotta Regulars and Reservists get hurt on parades with bayonets.
