The rear dovetail is standard Colt/G.I. The front tenon is Springfield-specific and not the same as either early Colt/G.I. or later Colt. It may be worthwhile to have the front cut for one of the common dovetails. I just had new sights put on my G.I., and had the front cut for a Heinie dovetail, which allows many sight options.
