Springfield 1911 trigger problem

I, out of a whim, bought a Springfield 1911 A1 about 2 months ago... this was the millitary parkerized version that had an adjustible sight added. Seemed like a good pistol... then a few weeks ago I had the opportunity to pick up a stainless steel version of the same pistol... here's the problem.. the trigger pull on the stainless steel one is aweful...more obvious to me in my limited experience since I have the other one. I took both to the range on Friday and both are dead on at 50ft if you hold them down on the bench and squeeeeeeeeeze the trigger...problem with the stainless steel model is it has a much longer and harder pull. So, what do I do about this?

solution -- get out yer wallet

First look here: www.americanpistol.com

Then drive your gun to the nearest.

Then spill a buncha money on the table (normally a 'trigger job' is between $75--175).

Then wait..............

Then go get it and shoot it and be astonished at what a 'trigger job' can do for you the shooter; you'll swear the gun has suddenly become more accurate.

Then be happy.
