Six shot revolver, 2" barrel, on one side of barrel...SPORTARMS, MIAMI FL,
on other side 38 SPL, just above grip is stamped

MR 102
F&L SRL
IND ARG
Any idea who made it? Does it mean F & L Industries??, Arg==Argentina??
what does the SRL mean?

Any ideas?? Thanks.

Oh, It's pretty substantial construction, steel with wood grips, nothing is stamped under grips. So I don't think it was made by Rohm. I'm not familiar with Argentina manufactures, if that's what the ARG means?

Your revolver was made in Argentina by F&L srl ("srl" is just their way of saying "incorporated"), and it was imported to the US by Sportarms. "MR 102" was the model number, and "Ind Arg" is short for "Argentine Industries", ie. "Built in Argentina". F&L's current web-page is at http://www.fyl.com.ar/home1.htm HTH.

Yours should have a different set of manufacturer markings on it, then, either on the frame, the barrel, or under the grips.
