Spire Point vs. Spitzer Point

What is the difference? I thought I read somewhere in my travels that a Spire point was blah blah and a Spitzer was blah blah blah but for the life of me I can't find where I read the difference. When working up loads can I use the same data from the manual for a Spitzer as for a Spire?

I believe the spire point will have a more blunt taper than a spitzer.
The same data can be used for reloading as long as the bullets are seated to the same depth in the case,
