Speer manual

Does anyone have a Speer manual and can check for 9.3x64 Brenneke loads? I found 9.3 270gr Speer SP bullets locally, but Nosler (the only manufacturer I found listing this cartridge) doesn't have a 270 gr. I found loads online, 62 - 68 gr RL 15, but it would be nice to actually have those confirmed by a manual.

Speer #13 lists a 9.3x62, but not a 9.3x64....

Powders for a 270 grain Semi-spitzer include H414, WIN 760, IMR 4350..... no RL 15.

Nosler's 5th Ed. also lists a 9.3x62 ....., but no 270 gr bullet. Their 286gr Partition lists RL 15 with a start load of 54.5, Do Not Exceed 58.5.....

Lee 2nd Ed. lists the 9.3x62 but no RL 15 270gr bullet loads.....

All I see is a 9.3x62mm 270 sp
min max

H414* 56gr 60 gr
760* 56 60
imr 4350 60 64
imr 4064 54 58
imr 4895 52 56
imr 4831 60 64
h380* 55 59
748* 50 54

Out of speers I hope this helps. *shows magnum primer.

Thanks for saving me the purchase of the Speer manual due to "it doesn't have it either" :)
The 9.3x64 is quite a bit hotter than the 9.3x62, depending on load up to 300 ft/s; it's basically a 375 H&H performance wise (just fits into a standard Mauser action). For identical bullets Nosler has about 15% more powder in the x64. Their max loads for 250 gr is 67 gr RL 15, for 286 gr 66 gr RL 15. So 60 - 62 grains should be a safe starting load for the 270.

Quickload rates the 9.3x64 Brenneke as a 64,000 psi cartriddge
in modern rifles in good condition (YMMV).

When going to its propellant Load Table option, QL drops that
to ~55,870 psi and tells me:

9.3x64 Brenneke
Case Volume: 88.0cc
COAL: 3.370"
Bullet: .366"dia, 270gr, Speer SP (#2459)
Powder: RL-15 / 66.6gr (94% case fill)
Pressure: 55,871 psi
Velocity: 2,616 fps (24")

(BTW: RL-15/62g is an 85% case fill --> 46,000psi/2,460fps -- reasonable min load)

YMMV again, of course, but RL-15/68.0gr takes pressure up to 59,400psi.

Here's some info from Loaddata.com (open the attachment)
Apparently this info was published in Handloader magazine some time ago (issue 147). I hope this helps.
