I got the chance to go through a couple boxes of the 115 gr tmj version of this ammo and to me it felt a bit warmer than what I'm used to. Are these on the hotter end of factory ammo or am I just imagining things?

(FWIW, I typically shoot handloads, 115gr fp, 4.5 bullseye)

Seems that way to me as well... It is really noticeable in the 40 cal...

Lawman is the next best thing to training with actual SD ammo. It is not a wimpy target load.

it is meant to mimic quality hp rounds which are loaded hotter.

Also an excellent decision since you aren't exposing yourself to vaporized lead from the bullet--a real concern that few think about or give credit.

It is excellent practice ammo. I also like NATO ammo for the same reason... it mimics the feel of a quality HP round but at half the price.
