Speaking of Trigger guards

Perhaps one of you learned gentlemen, or ladies can answer a question thats had me stumped. I own two Kahr pistol's One polymer in .40S&W, and a steel one in 9MM. My issue is this. WHAT??? is with that bump in the middle of the trigger guard? Everyone I know who ownes one complains about it. It makes it extremely uncomfortable to shoot.

Is there a fix for it? Does Kahr understand it's a major issue? Is there another thread discussing this?.

Thank You

Glenn Dee.

The "bump" (actually a formed bend) is to provide proper clearance for the pivoting trigger and to give more room in front of the trigger for the trigger finger.

If the guard was shaped differently, you'd either have problems getting your finger pinched between the trigger and the guard, or you wouldn't have enough room for your trigger finger.

This is simply Kahr's design for the gun.
I've never heard of people having problems with it.
