Source for Winchester M70 bolt

I have an friend that is in need of a bolt for a Model 70 Winchester manufactured in 1974 which is a push feed type. Evidently he lost the bolt out on a hunt.

I could use the complete bolt but the bolt body would suffice as well and the other components could be scrounged up. Anyone know who or where would be a good source for this part? Thanks.

I'd call Winchester 1st. I know that is an older model and Winchester has changed ownership twice since 1974, but that is still the 1st place I'd look. They still made pushfeeds up until 2006 so they likely have some around.

Gary,

I've read several things about Jack First, and they say that if you have the time to wait, and if he either has a drawing, or a part to go from, he can make it. I think they have a CNC there now, too.

Winchester had these dealers listed as obsolete parts suppliers for the model 70.
