I voted for the S&W model 60 (old model) in .38 Special,

cuz it's the handgun that started the stainless
steel craze; and beside's mine is a vintage 1965
model. I often times still carry this piece as
a CCW.

I have to agree with weldonjr2001. I have only owned a few, but my favorite is my 940.
