Sometimes we get lucky

I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and found a gentleman who was cleaning out his casting room and by chance he had bought two of my favorite bullet style molds in a Group Buy about 8 years ago and had never used them. So I asked what he'd take for them and he was very reasonable with his price and now I have two of the wonderful MP 45-270 SAA molds, still new in the box. Now I can run two molds at once and really crank out this wonderful bullet! :) It's a good week so far!!! I hope the weekend is nice and I can see what kind of production I'm really capable of.

If by some chance, you haven't seen this bullet profile before, here is some from my HP version of this mold.

I bought a two cavity of this bullet. I use it with a sabot in my Savage smokeless muzzle loader. It’s a solid performer on deer at 2000 fps, to say the least.
