Here they are, the latest addition is the M16A4ish clone I finished building Friday. It's an F&N contract upper receiver, Sabre defense 1/7 govt profile 20" barrel with F marked FSB, LMT F/A BCG, Bravo Company charging handle, ACOG TA01 in LMT mount, Daniel Defense 12" Omega FF tube, Cav Arms lower with LMT LPK and Cav Arms A1 stock. Assembled by me. I'm just waiting on the rear buis to show up Thursday.

I think you may have defeated the purpose of that rifle...

Put some magnification on it and get rid of that awkward forward handle thingy!

I started off that way with a Nikon scope, rather evolved to more of an EBR. Very accurate with the heavy barrel, front grip is the right distance for my long arms, the stock is long enough for me, too. Collapsible stocks have always been way too short for me. Overall it's not very heavy yet accurate enough for 1" groups at 100 yards with Burris sight.

Nice, super nice. The only things I would add to that collection is a plain jane A2 style model, no rails, fixed carry handle and stock.

Ooh and 16" models in 6.8 SPC and 6.5 Grendel.

EDIT: and a KAC SR25

No offense taken,
#3 is a spare for #2, #4 is the bump in the night go to gun, #1 I built for the wife and to hunt pigs, #5 was going to be an A2, but I decided on the A4 clone because I can use the ACOG or put the handle on it and use it as an A2, #6 is the mutt built from collected cast off parts to see if I could make a sub optimum parts frankengun function well and be reliable.
#2 is a Colt 6920 and the only one I bought as a complete rifle. The rest of the carbines except the mutt are LMT uppers with Cav Arms or Spikes lowers assembled by me with LMT parts. They have all been disassembled and reassembled to inspect and ensure proper torques.
I guess it comes down to familiarity. I like that they nearly all "feel" the same.

Being a broke college student, up to my eyeballs in student loans and ramen noodles, I can hardly imagine ever being able to afford so many high quality ARs... maybe one day though ... till then I envy you all.

No need to envy dude. You'll get there. I had to wait 20+ years for the kids to be gone. Now I'm looking forward to passing some of them off to the grandkids as well as teaching them how to work on them.:)

AH... i am positively green.

If it were not such a pain to get an AR and to take it out hunting yotes i would be driving a cheaper truck and using more expensive firearms.

When my rise to power as canadian prime minister is complete the gun laws shall go out the window and I will then retire to my big ol farm and shoot critters with a large selection of AR type rifles.
