Hi everyone - - - I wonder if anyone happens to have pics of the patterns of shotshells (CCI brand) used in their 44 Bulldogs ? If so - - and you have any comments on this I'd appreciate it. I'm wondering how the new 2 1/2" barrel Bulldog would do as a snake gun. Thank you - -

Ya should get `bout an inch/foot pattern with the capsules.

I`ve found the shorter the barrels the better the patterns !!

I load card over now , it gives me more flexability over the speed ,where with the capsules ya go to low they don`t break upon exiting the muzzle.

If ya shooting the factory stuff be careful shooting a whole cyl full ,the crimp is only so tite on the plastic capsules & alot of times they jump the crimp, this is the main reason I moved to cardover.

GP100man - - - thank you. I've seen the use of card over loads for shotguns, (16ga and 10ga) but never looked into their use in handloaded pistol shotloads. That's very interesting.

I'll have to look more into rolling my own.
