Both revolvers use fairly standard grips. The S&W will use standard square-butt N-Frame grips and the Colt will use New Service grips. The S&W would undoubtedly be the easier of the two to find grips for as square-butt N-Frames remain in production to this day while the Colt New Service was discontinued at the outbreak of WWII. Certain aftermarket grips may not fit these two revolvers unless the lanyards are removed.
Web: Thanks, I'v been online looking at different grip sites, but didnt find a hole lot. Now it may be easier noing what models I can use. I'm trying to decide which to get, so with the smith grips being easier to find I may go that way.
