Smelly shells

I just recently shot 100 pair of doubles on Monday. I shot the Remington dove loads (cheapest thing I could find). They absolutely smelt horrible. Why. I wanna know if they changed powder or something. I shot them over the summer and they didn't smell.

What is this you mention? Different than powder or heavy on the powder scent... What does it smell like? Dirty sweat socks, body odor, poo-poo, rotten eggs? Foul odor to some is another's perfume... I love diesel fuel and exhaust as well as racing fuel exhaust but don't much like the smell of a doe in estrous at all:barf:
