I am thinking about buying my Dad's SKS. He bought it new in 1990. I know this is before the 1994 Crime Bill, but I have a question. Is it allowed to have the bayonet attached? It's a useless item, but it looks cool. TIA for any information.
I bought mine before, as well, but I took off the bayonet, because TX law alows carry of a longarm, but not carry of a spear. How's that for odd? I doubt that anyone would really care, but it's my truck rifle, and I always have played by the rules.
