"skeletonized" triggers?

It's not the design of the trigger, it's the weight that's an issue. the 'skeletonized' trigger just reduces the weight, which is an issue with light match trigger pulls.

The trigger has to reset after each round is fired, a heavier trigger is more apt to bounce, and not reset as quickly- I guess that's the best way to describe it, that's how it feels- than a light match trigger.

I don't see a skeletonized trigger as being particularly helpful in a carry-pistol, but I doubt it would hurt anything. I agree with the other responses that it's most useful in a competition pistol...
