Sizing bullets

Let's say that I don't resize my (.45 Cal 255 Gr.) water quenched, self-cast lead lead bullets:

How bad of a thing is that?

Depends on your bore size & that of the bullet. Used to shoot some Lee .44 265 grainers that cast right on the money - no sizing needed.

But, ya still got to get lube on 'em. That Lee "roll 'em around in the bucket stuff" never appealed to me. I size everything (even if it doesn't need it) just as a function of lubing.

It will depend on the size droped, as Labgrade said, I use a lot of unsized Lee bullets, in several calibers, also some that are sized, I like the Lee lube, and have had prettu good success with it so far.
