I found a Single Six Flatgate, serial number in the 65xx range, for sale and was wondering if its a good deal or not and was hoping for some advice before I took the plunge.
It has at least 90% original finish with no dragline on the cylindar and no appeciable holster wear. It also is unconverted to the transbar safety. Someone has put a pair of aftermarket plastic stag grips on it, however.
I am able to buy it for $400 and was wondering if this was a decent price or not. The main reason I am thinking about buying it is because it is just like the first handgun I ever owned. I don't want to let the heart rule the mind and end up paying way more than its worth.
