Simmons ProTarget 6-24x44 Riflescope

Thoughts on this scope? I have a few Simmons scopes. Only one has ever given me any problems. The crosshairs wouldn't stay put. I just put this scope on my AR. Haven't had a chance to sight it in yet.

25 years ago, Simmons made pretty good scopes. The 44 mag was a solid hunting scope. Shortly after, Simmons turned into blister pack cheap junk. I heard their quality has improved some in the last few years, but I have no first hand experience with their newer stuff.
