This web site explains and shows the four differences;
Grip panels are different, yet interchangable.
Slide serrations are fewer on the P232.
Internal firing pin safety in the P232.
Sights go from 2 dot to 3 dot, there may be some overlap here in models.

The stainless models look fantastic and hold their finish very well.

I think the people who make these at Sig really like this particular gun because it just reeks of quality.

Maybe I just really like the 230/232.

I AGREE with above, if Bond, James Bond, decides to really get sexy with his next carry, get a sig 230/32

The grips are different on the 232, and were modified to give better ergonomics, I think. And now I think they are made of a more durable material. One small complaint about the 230 was the grips were frangible, that if you dropped the gun on a hard surface, the grips could crack or shatter, and the grips are required to hold some of the guts in that make it work, therefore, drop it in a crisis, a spring or something falls out, and no bang. That presumes a clumsy draw or awkwardness I guess. But I suppose you could always upgrade the grips, if the price difference justified it. I like the two dot or dot the I sights over the 3 dots anyway.
