I had stored my P220 for an extended period wrapped in foam. Subsequently, a number of small pits appeared on the slide. Can I remove these somehow, without damaging the overall finish? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Maybe some 0000 wool. I had a .44 C&B revolver that was stored and it rusted. Someone here mentioned 0000 wool and it worked and didn't scratch the metal.
But, I would wait for a few more responses just in case there is a better way .
