SIG 226 Finish

Hi Guys:

Just picked up a new to me P226 DAO with a stainless slide. (.357)

The slide is a little worn & scratched, and I was wondering about having it polished.

Is this feasible? Also, is it probable that this is a police trade-in?

you can always have it cerakoted....relatively tough and durable and you can pick just about any color you want.

The two companies that do alot of SIG refinishing... CCR and CustomizedCreationz.
Have had several of my SIGs done by both... excellent work and decent pricing! Plus a variety of finishes... Check 'em out!
Here's an old SIG-P6 done by CC and a P228 by CCR... came out great!

you can do cerakote yourself but you have to bake it on and I'm not sure about the required temps and different materials require different temps to bake at. it is probably best to have someone like business end customs or another such company do it.
