SHTF type situation

not the end of the world but........you are in a different part of your state, hundreds of miles away from home. you are unarmed and there is a situation, riot, natural disaster, fill in the blank, etc. many roads are closed, situation is dangerous but stores are open. you go to a local sporting goods store with guns and ammo and your credit card has a $1,000 limit.......what do you buy to try and insure your safety?

A used Ithica/remington 12 Ga pump. $300.
.357 Ammo 300 rounds or as many as I can get for $100.
Assortment of 12Ga 00 buck, and 12ga rifled slugs. $50.
A case of MRE's, a case of bottled water $50.
WAM.. ( walking around money) $100.
