Im pretty sure my next handgun is going to be a 1911 and I just wanted to see what customizations you guys have done to yours. Post pics of your sexy 1911s here!

Don't know about sexy, but here is my Colt MKIV with some tweaks I've made:

Features hand stippling, wedge MSH, BoMar sights, BarSto 45ACP match barrel.

I wish I had a nice custom 1911...

...but being a poor white trash child from WV has it's draw back.

I almost count this one as custom though. The only difference is I did it myself. It was an rough finished Detonics MC1 when I started but after a bunch of work I would stack it up against their nicest MKVI model.

This one's a home built 1911/.40 S&W using a Colt .38 Super frame, home brewed trigger, commander hammer milled to work with the Colt grip safety, Wilson sear, Fusion slide, Kart match barrel, Caspian extractor and ejector, Ed Brown match bushing, custom Colt grips, Novak sights, Wolf springs throughout. Firing pin is a used Rock Island item!! I built it and I like it.
